The board members make organizational decisions, and participate in the membership committee. In addition, they each take on specific projects to help OLASA grow.

SLVRDLRPROD: Director and Chairperson of Forum Committee

Alan is the founder of OLASA. He spent over 30 years as a teacher and educator. He holds degrees in Art Education and Educational Communications. Alan auctions handcrafted clocks on ebay. He has been the owner of three small businesses, including the current Silverdollar Productions, Inc.

 

Sara has a small herb farm in Tennessee and auctions a myriad of home made aromatherapy and herbal remedies for everyday ailments. As secretary, she puts her literary and organizational skills to use as group communicator. In addition to her duties as a board member, she also heads the newsletter committee.

Jen is a stay at home mom with a degree in business. She auctions a variety of items on ebay. Her background with previous employment as Customer Service Representative, Business Real Estate Marketing/Development and Internet Sales makes her a great chairperson of the membership committee. Jen reviews and submits qualifying applications to the membership committee for approval, in addition to her duties as a board member.

Kathy is a stay at home mom who has been a seller on ebay since July 2000, and has a background in retail sales. She specializes in selling vintage and antique collectibles. In addition to her duties as a board member, she is also responsible for the maintenance and the designing of our websites.

Marilyn is a stay at home mother and home-school teacher. She has extensive retail, sales, and management experience. She was also a consultant, designer, contractor and liaison for multiple residential, commercial, city and county properties for over 6 years. Marilyn, belongs to local organizations, one of which she started this past year and has grown to over 30 members. Her Ebay and web based stores include, but are not limited to, vintage items. She is focusing more on antique, vintage, one of a kind jewelry and art pieces. Marilyn maintains our Yahoo Members group site and is in charge of our Featured Member and Feedback pages, in addition to her duties as a board member.
